Don't say that I don't work - Pak Lah

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Badawi claims that Malaysians are aware that he works hard to fulfil his responsibilities for them.

Malaysians can criticise him and say that he is not good and "can say whatever".

"But don't say that I don't work."

Read the rest of the Star report:

"I work very hard. I really mean it and you know it,'' he said to thundering applause from hundreds guests who attended the Chinese New Year open house at the Penang Chinese Town Hall here.

Abdullah said as a Muslim, he had an obligation to fulfil his responsibility.

"I have a very heavy responsibility and I have to carry it out,'' he said.

He also urged Malaysians to make full use of the opportunities available to do well in life and to serve the people.

"It is God's will that I become the Prime Minister of Malaysia and I am very conscious that I have to serve the people although I personally do not benefit even one sen because of this,'' he said.

He said in fulfilling his responsibility, he has to be fair to all Malaysians, irrespective of their ethnic backgrounds.

"However, each of us has to strive towards the creation of a Malaysian community that is happy, prosperous, united, harmonious and respected.

"As Malaysians, no matter where we are and even though we are just a minority group, attending a function, we should feel comfortable and happy when attending a function.

"We should feel at home and that we are in the company of friends and fellow Malaysians,'' he said.

Chief Minister Tan Sri Dr Koh Tsu Koon in his speech said a lot of renewals and changes were being initiated under Abdullah's leadership especially in areas such as economy, security and government delivery system.

"These renewals and changes will however, take some time and require the support and co-operation of all Malaysians,'' he said.

Tok Mommy,

I laughed out loud reading what he just said. Remember when he said "I'm in control" when you know he is not.

A PM who travels out of the country most of the time, a PM who sits on his job, a PM who is clueless and doesnt know which direction his taking the country, a PM who helps enrich members of his family... Oh, the list is endless!

All I can say is: he's delusional!

Okay. I laughed until I cried! Unbelievable!

A man so desperate trying hard to prop up himself.

What is he thinking?

Another quotatable from a sleepy Dolah!

The saddest part is: he will STILL be re elected in the coming general election. :(

He is going to win and come Umno election, all the b.ll carriers will vote him in again as party president.

We're going to have him for another term!

Oh Malaysia Ku, apa kah dosa mu?

i think our prime minister really does live in his own fantasy world.
as our blog sister Eva says, under a different system, he will be ousted, outed and unceremoniously dumped in this coming election.
but you and i know that he will remain PM for as long as he is the Umno president.
(er... i do read, you know).
and to quote my blog sister, Eva..this is a tragedy for this country.

Now...about him working.

it is true. i don't know whether to laugh or to cry.

i know that since he became PM he's been travelling a lot. not necessarily working.

he is malaysia's shame.

No! no! no. Pak Lah! What we know is that you've been sleeping on your job!

Siang dan malam bekerja "KERAS"!

What a joke....Mahathir NEVER had to clarify or verify to anyone that he was working in his past 5 term.....

Doll doubt himself...that's why he is trying to convince himself, his ministers and trying very hard on the people...

What a clueless quote from a PRIME Hamster

Who's really good as Prime Minister? Tunku? Razak? Hussein? Mahathir? Abdullah? All those five were whacked left and right at one time or the other but the funny thing was they won elections.

Try instead to offer alternatives. Anwar, Kit Siang, Hadi or whoever. I am sure if that happens, he would be demonised the same way.

Only people who does not have results to justify his presence or existence will claim that he has been working hard ... bcos 'working hard' is so subjective!! To us Malaysians, as long as we don't see desired results and expected performance, he is a poor performer sleeping on his job! And he should go. It is a shame to continue taking the citizens for a ride and now fooling us with 'working hard'! Only those without respect and passion for the growth of the nation will continue voting him .... of course everyone in UMNO likes him to continue be the president bcos these cronies and blood-suckers can continue all their dirty acts without having to face any punishments bcos the president is working hard sleeping and dreaming!! Go fly kite lah Pak Lah!!

Anyone can tell his boss that he works very, very hard. But the boss will tell his employee, "You are not competent and suitable for the job. Go collect your paycheck and look for another job."

"I work very hard. I really mean it and you know it>"

We do? I dont. All I know is you are one PM who seizes every opportunitty to get out of the country for a vacation on the pretext of "work."

old fart! try not to be such a prick, man. you've been going around the blogs with your pessimistic, defeatist comments. malaysians deserve a better prime minister. we can change that. use your voting right to do that. stop whining and let's rally the people to wake up this sleeping government at the next general election.

we need to hold our heads high, old fart! stop bending over for these people to sodomise our rights!

First time commenting here... a belated (very belated) congratulations on finally coming to the bloggerhood!

Yeah, resorting to self-PR all the time has to say something about the people's confidence level in this old man's role as Pak Perdana... something not so good, I might add.

The real shame is that he's squandered the good part of this current mandate, and not living up to the promises, promises, promises made... Until now: more promises, promises, promises...

But, to bastardize a popular saying, "in the land of the blind, the shut-eye man is king"... until and unless the nation itself finally wakes up from it's stupor, who's to insist that Pak Lah wakes up?

And until then, the snooza-palooza we're experiencing now will continue on, and on, and on...

PEACE!

p.s. I happen to probably be the only All-Blogs pro tem exco that has not yet had the privilege to taste that wonderful mee rebus I keep hearing about... ;-)

This pm is in his twilight term (that's why the lowercases) and he doesn't even know it. He sleep-talks most of the time and suffers from an acute case of I-cuseitis (as in laryngitis). He's got a hugely inflated ego that is as b_doh as it comes.

i am serious about what i said!

Pak lah, oh Pak Lah! You're living in a Fool's Paradise.

The truth always prevails:

Pak Lah is not assuring us Malaysians but assuring himself that he wanted to be all that he has been saying. Sometimes you need to accept the fact; you are just not the right person to be holding the top position. And honestly I do not want to believe anyone who claims he or she follows strictly his/her religious principle to perform. If being a good muslim is all that matters than you could find a humble Pakcik who is more qualified than you Mr.PM The more you claim the more people distrust you.

...............

Well, I am speechless with his joke..

Anonymous said...

A true leader does not need to remind his people that "he works hard or that he personally does not benefit even one sen". Probably uttering these statements make him less guilty spiritually and morally when in reality he or associates benefit millions if not billions. No matter, BN will still win in the next election as most people are "blind" literally.

Dear Pak Lah,

Your statements, if indeed through, only shows you up to be delusional. "It is God's will that I become the Prime Minister of Malaysia.."What happened to "...I received the mandate of the people from the last election"? WE, THE PEOPLE, ELECTED THE GOVERNMENT AND GAVE YOU THE JOB, not God, Allah, or any religious being that you care to name and by gad, this year I'll vote to have you out of the office!

i want to believe that he really had worked really hard....

but, i hope he'll believe that, his self proclaimed hard work is not up to the required standard LAH...

if he already gave more than hundred percent, but still can't produce desired result... hahaah.. it's time to retire LAH...
