The Star reported that PAS vice-president Mohamad Sabu (aka Mat Sabu) and PKR Youth leader Badrul Hisham (aka Chegu Bard) were arrested in Kuala Lumpur this afternoon, believed to be in relation to a planned gathering at the sitting of the Perak state assembly on Thursday (tomorrow).
It is believed that a third person, an unidentified political activist, was also arrested.
Perak police are expected to hold a press conference soon to brief the media on the reasons for the arrests.
The arrests come less than 24 hours after Coalition for Free and Fair Elections (Bersih) representative Wong Chin Huat was arrested for alleged sedition.
Wong who was earlier expected to be released this evening has his remand extended until Friday, May 8.

I’ll wear my black jubah in solidarity. I’m in KL so am not able to join them.
Apalah Najib. On being declared PM he set free 13 ISA detainees. One month down the road, his government arrested three opposition politicians.
I somehow sensed then that the first move was more of a public relations exercise.
What happened to that mantra that "the days of the government that knows best is long gone" you chanted?
Already forgotten? That soon?
ITU CAKAP TAK SERUPA BIKINLAH!
Depa dah nak tiru protes cara Thai.

Rosak, rosak, rosak, negara ini dek buat pembangkang.
Desperate times call for desperate measures.
