Arrest warrant for Changkat Jering assemblyman - Malaysiakini

The Magistrates Court here has issued a warrant of arrest against Changkat Jering assemblyman Mohd Osman Mohd Jailu for failing to turn up in court for his corruption trial. Malaysiakini .

His sister told the court that he was unwell but failed to produce a medical certificate (MC) on his behalf.

Behrang assemblyman Jamaluddin Mohd Radzi also failed to turn up for the trial but managed to produce the necessary documentation to prove he was unwell.

The two state representatives left PKR to become Independents and together with a defector from DAP have thrown their support behind Barisan Nasional in Perak which led to the BN taking the control of the state.

Jamaluddin and Mohd Osman face 16 charges, including allegedly soliciting or accepting bribes of between RM400 and RM100,000 during a two-week period between Aug 6 and 19 last year.

The court postponed the hearing to Feb 15 and 16.

Atau overconfident that the charges will be dropped just bcoz they crossed over?

Now with BN's support their cases will go unheard. How many times have we seen this . Look what action they have taken in the case of Kugan. We are wasting our time with BN.
