The first 30 minutes of telecast yesterday was filled with arguments on technicalities such as oath-taking manner and order of questions, by the Pakatan Rakyat MPs.
Matters got out of hand with name-calling and cynical remarks between Pakatan Rakyat and Barisan Nasional MPs who ignored Speaker Tan Sri Pandikar Amin Mulia's call for them to behave. (Read here )
Shabery said his ministry may review the whole idea of having a live telecast of the Parliament session if MPs continue to behave badly. (Read here and here.)
"We have no intention of extending the telecast any longer if this is the kind of show the MPs are going to put up for the public."
He added that as long as MPs continued to have a third-class mentality, his ministry would ignore all calls to air full Parliament sittings despite the possibility of a high rating.

Very entertaining indeed to see monkeys jumping up and down in the August House.

Actually they only behave like a monkey only when there is camera.
