Now it's Ku Li who's written to Umno members...

Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah has written to 18,000 Umno leaders throughout the country calling them to hold an EG meeting to discuss the poor perfomance of the party in the just-ended general election.

In his letter, Tengku Razaleigh said that the recent election results was not only surprising, but frightening.

The 71-year old veteran politician has suggested the EGM be held on May 11, the date Umno was founded in 1946.

He is calling for an EGM of the Gua Musang division on Thursday.

Right rocky, why is Mat Tyson saying that Ku Li's letter is nothing but just rumours. What's there to hide or deny when the story is all over the internet and reported by the Star today.

Ku Li wants EGM on May 11. May 12 brainstorming on how to protect and get back UMNO birthright to govern. So what will happen the day after that?

Kak Ton,

I not only agree with Ku Li to call the AGM, I think UMNO members should consider him as transitional leader to take UMNO into the next elections. The people have lost trust in the present leadership.

One must not be selfish and hang on to power when they are no more popular and the people have shown their displeasure through the ballot boxes.

I believe Abdullah will step down before the UMNO Assembly.

He is making a big mistake and perilous to UMNO if he refused.

And he calls himself Umno Information chief! I am referring to that fella who says he no understand English as his defence in that Australian court case in which he tried to bring out wang haram berjuta-juta.

It is a matter of time before Pak Lah steps down.

I think there is a move among the grass roots, especially umno members in the five states which have gone to the hands of the Opposition Coalition to put pressure on Pak Lah to do the right thing - ie resign.

Dont know how he is going to deal with it. The Only problem is, who is going to succeed him.

Pak Lah is fighting for his political survival. He sure is in deep trouble.

To Khairy, your ambition to be a PM by the age of 40 has been thwarted. And you should know you the REASON why "papa" is now in deep shit!
