A few Umno leaders have made calls for Prime Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi and former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad to meet again to patch up their differences.
Cheras Umno Division chief Datuk Syed Ali Al Habshee suggested Tuesday that Abdullah lead an Umno Supreme Council delegation at the meeting with Dr Mahathir to resolve their spat, according to Bernama.
Umno veteran Tan Sri Abdul Aziz Tapa said in Melaka that the council of former elected representatives, Mubarak, should help in the mediation effort to stop the hurling of accusations.
Both Abdullah and Dr Mahathir had a private meeting on Oct 22 2006 following a similar spat.
Dr Mahathir has asked Abdullah Badawi to step down holding him responsible for the BN's poor performance in the recent general election, for failing to get a two-third majority in Parliament, losing five states to the Barisan Rakyat and Kelantan to Pas.
(Just kiss and make up (peluk & cium), forgive and forget. That's all? Naah it is not that easy. Dr Mahathir wants Abdullah to step down. And the PM wants Dr M to shut up. Neither of them is going to budge.)

Tok mommy,
Read Malaysian insider:
"Will Johor Umno break the bad news to Pak Lah on Friday?" and here's the link:

Very interesting. Seems Johor Umno sending the clear message to the PM, that he has to go. Only problem how to tell him when he visits the state on friday.
Why would the PM wants to kiss and make up? it wasn't him who started the fight! He is better of here, as he can talk and fight back. To go to the peace table, he would be tying his own hands.
