I will not stay longer than I should - Pak Lah

But says he cannot leave under the present political condition.

"I would retire one day but I could not leave in this kind of political scenario. I will retire one day, of course. I'm not going to stay longer than I should.

"But there are certain things that I like to do now. I cannot leave at a time when the party is in this condition. I cannot leave at a time when we are preparing for the implementation of development projects. We have already promised the people. We will do it.

"I'm not going to stay on for years. Certainly not," the prime minister told reporters after meeting Sabah Barisan Nasional (BN) leaders in Kota Kinabalu yesterday.

Abdullah was asked whether he had a date in mind on when he would retire after having named Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak as his successor. (He had said Sunday Najib was his successor.)

On naming Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak as his successor, Abdullah said in jest: "Of course. Are you in doubt that you have to ask me again?"

"Datuk Seri Najib understands me more than you can understand me. I am not going to stay on for years. Certainly not," he added.

(Bottom line: He aint resigning, is not going anywhere and IS staying put. But I think you should - I mean go - Pak Lah. You' have overstayed and your shelf life has already expired!)

Pak Lah should maintain his elegant silence because the moment he opens his mouth the more stupid he sounds.

Nobody'd asking you to stay. Just go Pak Lah, go find a graceful exit.

Indeed as Tok Mommy said, you've overstayed. It's time to go...quietly.

Liar. liar panst on fire.

What he is saying is" I will leave when I feel like it and it's not going to be that sooon."

Sorry Najib, I mean sorry Rosmah. You gotta be patient. By the time Pak Lah resigns, you would need another face lift.

I would hve more respect for him if he exits quietly NOW. He had let his ministers run wild within the government, and now, they are doing the same and he has not done anything...such as Azalina...

God help us all, Malaysians.

Pak Lah or Najib (Rosmah in tow?) and it is like being between the devil and the deep blue sea. :P
